Whether at a seminar, conference or workshop, meet fewer people better.

If it’s about racking up a list of names, great – spread yourself around and flit like a butterfly, but if the intention is to come away from a 3-day with connections and potential partnerships, meet fewer people and invest longer in those conversations.

I wish I had a picture of my friend, Tim, here. (He wouldn’t be my friend anymore if I did that, so I won’t.) Please notice I said, “friend.” He really is now. I didn’t know him at the start of a conference.
