Some people have a failure meter.
Whether consciously or unconsciously, as these people reach enough failure they quit. Too many failures, the red light turns on, the siren sounds and they’re out.
And there are others.
These others are people who don’t count failures. They don’t even have the capability to count them. There is no failure meter. A red light never goes off no matter how many failures. The siren never sounds.
What’s the difference?
The first group sees the details of the journey and counts the cost of achievement. The second group sees the end result of the journey and pays the price of achievement.
If you find yourself counting the cost you’ll have a hard time paying the price.
