If you had to sit alone in your house for a few hours; no cell phone, no Facebook, no books, no TV, no movies…just sit and be alone with your thoughts and feelings…does that make you uncomfortable?
Picture it. You’re sitting on your couch with nothing to do but think about who you are, what you’ve done, where you are and where you’re going. Are you comfortable? Mildly uncomfortable? Squirming?
You should be very comfortable. If the thought of these few hours makes you uncomfortable, bored or agitated, something isn’t right.
You can either do something about that or hop back into life as usual.
If you’re chasing a better you, I suggest you lay off ignoring reality. It’s extremely prohibitive for chasing greatness.
