Recently, I found myself checking email and social media way more often than I used to.

I didn’t used to get notified of every bit of internet activity, but somehow my settings changed and I was getting notified of every email, every like, every mention, every everything.

By having these notifications flying to my phone I was caught in vicious cycle of reaction – like a puppet being led around by everyone else’s actions.
