That’s a question I’ve asked myself several times the last few weeks. Through tradition, excitement and societal norms we are programmed to spend our thoughts on things not important or relevant to today, this week, or maybe even this month.
The negative version of this is that we get anxious and worrisome.
The positive version, I suppose, is dubbed “planning.” (This is ironic because the plans made early on typically have to change based on new information and happenings.)
To not plan and not worry must mean one doesn’t care, right? No, it just means that thinking on or planning something too far in advance is a waste of time and energy.
