“These are the money reps!”
The last few reps of a set in the weight room. The reps you feel you can’t do because you’ve pushed that muscle to its max. But those reps – those are the money reps! The ones that make the gains, the reps you were actually trying to get to the whole time and just needed the first 8 or 10 to get there. THOSE are the money reps!
Interesting that the greatest gains come on the hardest reps at the very end when you feel the most weak and the most pain. And it’s not so different in life either, now is it?
