If you get up in the night and it’s pitch black, can you find your way out of the bedroom, down the hall to the bathroom?
It’s a game I like to play. Pitch black, anticipating where the door frame is and reaching out as if it will be there. When it is, I win! Turn the corner down the hall, sense a door opening and reach my hand out as if there’s an opening. When it is, I win!
You get the picture.
We’ve conditioned ourselves that we need more light, more certainty, more assurance than necessary to reach our destination.
