Are you living the dream?

As I was leaving the gym I asked the deskman if he was having a good day.

“Living the dream,” he said with a genuine smile. He wasn’t sarcastic and I knew it. He was truly happy.

Better to be a deskman “living the dream” than a wealthy celebrity who can’t say that line and mean it.
