An Orange Julius can be one of those things that we relegate to buying at the fair or the mall. We associate them with those places and not in our home.
I had a notion to make an Orange Julius recently and realized how easy and delicious it was. And I could have it right in my own home in 2 minutes!
A lot of times we see a trait in someone else, but relegate it to them rather than ever associating it with us. True, our association with it is outside ourselves, but as Marcus Aurelius says, “if it is within the powers and province of man, believe that it is within your own compass also.” It’s almost as easy as making an Orange Julius in your home.
