Thoughts on the newspaper

Shortly after I was in the newspaper someone approached me and asked, “will you still talk to me now that you’re famous?!”

I made light of it and went with her lighthearted question, but couldn’t help but think on it later.

Being in the newspaper makes someone famous?

The irony is that the newspaper is grateful to me for letting them have the interview! I give them content to put in their publication so their readers are happy and continue to subscribe.

Will I still talk to her?

Insulting. I wasn’t insulted, but it was insulting.
