“Taking a leap of faith,” sounds like some romantic, ballerina leap with fairy dust. There’s something magical and whimsical about it.
Reporting live from the aftermath of Leap of Faith:
There was nothing romantic about it, and it surely didn’t come with sprinkles or sparkles. There were no graceful leaps in the air. It was more like jumping off a very high boulder, landing and getting a face full of dirt and dust. But the jump happened, and so did the landing, in a new spot with new opportunities.
There is nothing effortless about a leap of faith.
