When we find ourselves in over our head the typical reaction is panic. This emotional response cripples logical and good thinking. I recently started a project and was in for a rude awakening at the enormity of the undertaking. THAT moment, when I realized, that’s what I’m talking about in this blog post.
When you realize you’re drowning in your current state of affairs, what should you do?
Get a logical foundation.
Be clear on the purpose of the project/thing.
Revamp and go at it again.
What I mean by getting a logical foundation is to take inventory of the facts. The things that ARE solid.
Once we’re clear on our purpose, and we’re clear on the current state of affairs, it’s pretty easy to see where we need to course correct.
Deploy this method. You’ll thank me later.
