Teaching a two-year-old about picking up her toys is interesting. “When you’re finished with it, we’re going to put it away.”
Which reminds me of how many adults are finished with people, relationships, books, ideas, hobbies etc. They don’t put those away properly either.
Everything is just sort of still laying around the house… Unfinished business, unresolved conflict, half spoken truths, half-baked ideas, half-shared dreams.
We could stand to put a few things in their proper place. A little “clean up” if you will.
