Soul thoughts

Can you just hug me?

We’re more tolerant of feeling disconnected when not in close proximity, but feeling disconnected feels stronger when we’re in the same room.

Recently I traveled to visit a friend and the closer I got to their home the more disconnected I felt. Ugh.

If there is a disconnect in a relationship we easily use distance to justify the gap. Take away the distance and we’re just left disconnected. This is probably the truest picture of the relationship because there are no justifications or excuses to bridge the gap.
